This site collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no forms, and no cookies.
Anonymous, aggregate page-view statistics are collected with GoatCounter, a cookieless analytics tool. It stores nothing on your device and does not track you across sites.
The same tool also counts a few anonymous interactions, so we can tell which parts of the site are actually used: switching brands, cameras/lenses mode, currency or the mount filter, changing which camera or lens is compared, expanding or collapsing a spec section, changing the colour theme, sharing a comparison with the Share button, clicking a Buy, View, "Compare these interactively", related-comparison or References link, reaching the spec table, and staying on a page for 30 seconds or 2 minutes. These are tallies, not recordings — nothing identifies you.
Your last-visited brand and your light/dark/system theme choice are kept in your browser's
localStorage so the site can return you there next visit. This never leaves your
device; clearing site data removes it.
Buy buttons lead to the Amazon marketplace for your selected currency, and each item's References (spec, price and image sources, plus its product page) link to manufacturer, retailer and review sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies that apply once you leave this one.
